Dustin Good enters his third season as the head coach of the New York University Men’s Hockey team in 2025-26. In his first season at the university, he helped guide the program to its best winning percentage since the team’s first season at ACHA Division 1 in 2017-2018. Before NYU, Good helped return the program at his high school alma mater, Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School (in Pennsylvania), to prominence amongst the New England, Mid-Atlantic, and Canadian boarding schools circuit over the course of three seasons, while also serving as a director of admission at the school. He also led the school’s successful application for New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NESPAC) Associate Membership.
Good started his coaching career with the Binghamton Jr. Senators youth and junior programs before moving on to coach junior and high school in New Jersey with the Jersey Wildcats and Montclair Kimberley Academy, respectively. Following his time coaching in New Jersey, Good was an assistant at the Tilton School in New Hampshire. Good is a level 4 USA Hockey certified coach. He has been teaching and coaching for over 15 years and currently works as a high school history teacher at an independent school in Manhattan.
Brian Zaffino ’23 – Assistant Coach – bz1099@nyu.edu

Brian Zaffino enters his third season as an assistant coach for the New York University Men’s Hockey team in 2025-26. He played for the Violets from 2019-2023, anchoring the defense. Before NYU, Zaffino earned CHSCA All-State honors while playing for Darien High School (CT) and captained the Connecticut Roughriders of the EHL. Zaffino currently plays for Ireland’s Men’s National Team.
Zaffino is a level 4 USA Hockey certified coach. He began his career working in investment banking and now works as a writer in both film and traditional literature in Manhattan.

Devin Pepe enters his first season as an assistant coach for the New York University Men’s Hockey team in 2025-26. Devin graduated from Stony Brook University, playing for the Men’s Ice Hockey Team from 2019-2024. He was team captain for his final two seasons with the Seawolves. Prior to Stony Brook University, he played junior hockey in the NCDC, NAHL and EHL. During his career, he served as team captain at the high school, 18U AAA, junior, and collegiate levels. Pepe is a level 1 USA Hockey certified coach. He currently works in wealth management as a Client Service Associate.
Joshua Stich ’24 – Assistant Coach

Joshua Stich enters his first season as an assistant coach for the New York University Men’s Hockey team in 2025-2026. He was a four-year member of the team, serving as assistant captain during the 2023-2024 season.
Stich began his playing career with the Atlanta Fire before joining the TPH Thunder. He attended Kent School in Connecticut where he was a four-year member of the boys varsity hockey team. During the 2018-2019 season, he helped the Kent Lions capture the NEPSAC Large school Championship, the first in school history. After prep school, Stich played for the Northern Cyclones NCDC before enrolling at NYU in the Summer of 2020. Stich is a level 1 USA Hockey certified coach. He is currently a 2nd year student at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, located in the Bronx. He aspires to be an orthopedic surgeon.
